Cabinet business acquires piece of ex-Montblanc pen factory, HQ

“A cabinet maker is set to take over a portion of the former Montblanc pens factory and headquarters in Hunterdon County, following a sale brokered by Charity Realty International LLC.

The brokerage firm announced Monday that it had marketed and sold a 22,500-square-foot industrial building at 55 North St. in Bloomsbury, part of the campus along Interstate 78. The buyer, 55 K Realty, will place a commercial custom cabinet shop in the space.

“The functionality of the facility, with its clear spans, (eight-inch) concrete floors, primary power distribution and proximity to I-78 made the decision to buy 55 North Street easy for the purchaser 55 K Realty,” said James Costanzo, president of Charity Realty. “The property traded for about ($50 per square foot), a real bargain when compared to its more-costly eastern neighbors where properties are selling for more than double that.””
