Preparing for Success

The Hunterdon County Vocational School District (HCVSD) offers unique opportunities to many high school students. HCVSD’s 4 high-school academies give students the chance to jump start their careers by earning college credits, participating in internships and mentorships and joining career-focused extracurricular organizations that offer them the chance to compete for scholarships.

HCVSD also offers a host of shared-time career and technical education programs for high school students and a variety of adult and continuing education courses.

Higher Education Within Reach

Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) is a two-year accredited college located in Branchburg, New Jersey. It offers more than 90 associate degree and certification programs—both online and in the classroom. Its “University Center” also offers degree completion programs from a number of educational partners, including Rutgers University.

Raritan Valley Community College’s Small Business Development Center invites businesses—large and small—to come together for training, meetings and continuing education. RVCC also works with county businesses to place driven, talented students in internships and employment where they gain real-world experience and support the growing economy and target industries of the County.
