Hunterdon plans first county park along Delaware River

Milford is Hunterdon County’s overlooked river town.

While Lambertville, Frenchtown and even Stockton downstream on the Delaware River have become tourist attractions, Milford has fought to earn its place in the county’s growing tourism industry.

That effort is receiving a big boost from the county government working with the state’s Green Acres program to develop the county’s first park along the Delaware River and create a trail connection from Milford to Frenchtown.
